Mr.K.S. John, Principal, Sunrise International Residential School, Lakshminarayanapura, Huskur Post, Electronic City, Bangalore is a noted academician who is in the field of education for the past 25 years. He started his career as a teaching faculty in Gandhi Grameen Gurukula and slowly and steadily moving up to the Rastriya Military School which is a Residential Public School managed by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. With his knowledge of the behavioral instincts of the students, he believes that to bring out the most in them one need not be just a strict teacher but also their best friend. He has been immensely popular among the students community who according to them is not only their teacher but also their guiding light. He left his Military School teaching career to grow and pursue a foray into leading institutions and became the Principal of International Schools in Bangalore and then in Mumbai where he lead groups of educators into moulding the minds of the students. He always thought that students, more than anything else need inspiration. He has been a guiding spirit to many teachers and students who carved a niche for themselves.
He is the founder member
of ISTE - International Society for Technology in
Education, which brings together two important
aspects i.e., Technology and Education, hence
making learning a more pleasurable and easy to
understand for children. With all that years of
experience in moulding young minds he observed
that a visual form of portraying lessons to
students will not only make them remember what is
taught in the class for a long time but also give
a boost to their imagination. He has gained
experience in almost all types of International
and Residential Schools. He was at the pinnacle of
his career when he established the first of its
kind-Day Boarding School in Navi Mumbai Sanjivani
International School with a unique concept of -
"No Load of Books" and " No Homework" Thereby
reducing the burden and easing the tension and
stress of Parent community and also by making life
of students more enjoyable.
Presently he is heading

Post, Electronic City, Bangalore. He in his tenure
has brought many constructive changes by
introducing various kind of co-curricular,
extracurricular activities along with making class
room learning fun and many more personality
development programme which includes and enhances
alround development of students.
